01The Enquiry
Four details, then we read you in.
The fields below are what James needs to confirm a date, draft a quote, and recommend a senior artist if his own diary is closed. Anything you leave blank, we will ask by return.
02Practicalities
Plainly answered, before you send.
The remaining questions brides tend to hold back. If yours is not here, write it in the note field — James reads every enquiry himself.
i. Do you travel, and what does international coverage cost?
Yes. James’s travel-ready kit has covered twenty-two countries — passports and full international insurance are current. International bookings include return flights, two nights of accommodation, and ground transfers in the quote. He has personally styled brides in Italy, France, Greece, Morocco, and as far as the Seychelles.
ii. Is a trial included, and when should we book it?
One in-studio trial is included with every booking; it runs ninety minutes at the Mount Street studio, ideally eight to ten weeks before the wedding. A second look-and-feel trial can be added if you are changing direction mid-planning. Trials are scheduled on weekday afternoons — James blocks his diary around them.
iii. Can you stay for a second-look change between ceremony and reception?
A second-look service is offered on every booking. James (or your senior artist) remains on location for the full hair-and-makeup window — typically until just after the first dance, or until photographs conclude, whichever is later. The second look itself runs thirty to forty minutes and is included for full-day bookings.
iv. What is your cancellation and reschedule policy?
Cancellations made more than twelve weeks before the date receive a full refund of the deposit, less a £150 administration fee. Within twelve weeks, the deposit is transferable to a new date in the same calendar year — James has honoured this once a year for brides whose weddings have been affected by family circumstance, and the policy exists for exactly that. After the wedding morning, the balance is non-refundable.
